Ismail Mat Hussin, batik painter born in Pantai Sabak, Kota Bharu, Kelantan in 1938.
Heavy limbs with the muscles rendered mosaic-like on every part of the body, is the trademark of bath painting by ismail. The skill was influence by his mentor Khalil ibrahim that doesn't " break " the muscle into pieces.
