Etching by Eng Tay

ENG TAY

Born and raised in Kedah, Malaysia. In 1968 he moved to New York City to study at The Art Students League, followed by graduation from The School Of Visual Arts in 1972 as a graphic designer. He worked in the graphic arts field until 1978, when he undertook several painting trips though out South America and Indonesia until 1980.

These trips formed a basis for the types of scenes and moments that became his subject matter – images of people playing music, family moments and interactions, market scenes and daily rituals. He began to exhibit steadily and continued to gain international recognition as his work was shown in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, his native Malaysia and his adopted home of New York, as well as extensively across the United States.

Eng Tay works in several media – limited edition etchings, painting and sculpture. Most of his work has found its greatest expression when addressing the concept of family – the poetry of the family, of man and woman, of children, of friendship, of music and of the natural world.

His painting is now available for view / sell in our gallery, please contact Mary 014 6692614 for more details.

Tang Hong Lee ...

Tang Hong Lee

Born in Pahang, Malaysia in 1963.
He received his Diploma in Art from Kuala Lumpur College of Art in 1986. He then continued his studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts(visual art) in printmaking from Canberra Institute of Arts, Australia.
A life-long artist, he has been exhibiting regulary for the past 18 years. His recent works are filled with youthful vigour,an ecstatic expression of nature with a touch of the magical and fantasy.Indeed, the dramatic effects of his light-filled paintings resplendent with clouds, fishes and sea turtle achieved a rather surreal effect with quirky humour-small village pop up and nestled serenely on clouds. In his painting Tang stretches our imagination, perhaps questioning the possibility of living amidst clouds or in the ocean? His enthusiasm for colours has not diminished albeit a more monochromatic preference this time. Large expense of chromatic blue, green and red skies juxtaposed with dancing clouds speaks of ethereal beauty that makes the viewing experience an exhilarating one. Tang has successfully explored the notion of happiness throughout his village series, this one even more exuberant. For Tang,'It is the journey itself with is the most important aspect of painting

His paintings s now available for sell in our gallery. please contact Mary 014 6692614 for more details.

Water Color on Paper by Maamor Jantan...

Maamor Jantan

Katanya: “Irama keroncong semakin hilang ditelan zaman.

Azman Hilmi .. Colourful Abstract

Looking for colourful abstract... with not too expensive price?
i had good piece abstract from local artist, Azman Hilmi... with good offer price.

Mengembara bersama Azman Hilmi
